This month’s Sample Society box was all about Easy Spring Updates. As always, a lovely box and it even had two hair accessories! There were no makeup items in this box, but I love getting these strictly hair, face, body care boxes because this is stuff I can continually use on a daily basis, regardless of what I have going on (can’t wear red lipstick all day, everyday).

Here’s what came in this month’s box:

B. Kamins Nia-Stem Moisturizer

Firm, hydrate and brighten skin in one simple step with the Vitamin A-infused formula.

Haven’t tried this yet, but will do as soon as I run out of any one moisturizer (I have way too many open already). It has some really fantastic ingredients and I’m really excited to try it! This sample alone is worth more than $36. The full bottle of this is worth $125, so I won’t be purchasing the full bottle, even if this was the fountain of youth :/

Hanskin Hydro Sheet Mask

Smooth, supple skin in as little as 10 minutes: this moisturizing mask features seaweed extract and hyaluronic acid to replenish your complexion.

This mask is incredibly hydrating. It reminds me of the one from February’s GlossyBox, except this one uses seaweed extract, rather than snail slime, which I definitely prefer. This one also takes only 15-20 minutes, while the other mask takes 40.

Borghese Gel Delicato Makeup Remover

At the end of the day, scrub it all away with this gentle, oil-free formula suitable for all skin types.

First of all, I love Borghese. I also love the way this looks so brightly green in my medicine cabinet, reminds me of the ocean. You apply this with a cotton pad all over the face, eyes, and lips and then rinse it off. It feels nice and cool and has a gel-like consistency. It is also dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested and safe enough for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes.

Red Flower Italian Blood Orange Body Lotion

Pamper your bod with Red Flower’s delectably-scented, mega-moisturizing lotion.

This smells divine and I like the way the bottle looks and feels. When this first goes on, it smells a lot stronger than it does after it sets. It leaves my skin moisturized and has a lot of really great things in it:

A bright, tangy blend of invigorating essences of blood orange, grapefruit and orange blossom. Red flower moisturizing lotions are created from essential oils and botanicals for long-lasting softness. Chamomile and rose flower infusion, with orange extract, rich in vitamin c, tomato leaf , honey and a sweet blend of jojoba and sweet almond oil. Shea butter nourishes and protects the skin with vitamins a, e and f.

Cotz Face Natural Skin SPF 40

Prep for sunny season with our new favorite mineral sunscreen, which blends ultra-smooth for a matte finish.

This goes on smooth and dries to a powdery finish. I absolutely love it. There is no shiny finish or weird sunscreen smell. It actually reminds me of Miracle Skin Transformer™ SPF20 Face, but at about half the cost.

I love wearing this for my morning runs because it feels like you aren’t wearing anything. It also has quite a bit of color, so basically, it’s a miracle sunscreen. I wish the sample wasn’t so teeny tiny so I could enjoy it for longer! I might have to actually buy this one!

This is also what it claims (impressive):

CoTZ sits invisibly on top of the skin and functions like thousands of mirrors to deflect UVA/UVB rays before the rays can penetrate the skin. CoTZ is 100% Free of chemical sunscreen ingredients, here’s why: Chemical sunscreens absorb UVA/UVB rays into the skin and transform the rays into heat, which can damage the dermis. Cotz has products for every skin type and member of the Family: Cotz PURE (100% Natural sunscreen)

Jane Tran Hair Accessory Sampler

Get a great updo (easily) with this hair-perfecting set, featuring a chic bobby pin and hair clip.

Sweet baby Jesus, these are ADORABLE. I love them. The black one has a design all the way through, even on the inside of the clip. I would definitely buy these!

This box had over a $50 value for only $16.33 (including tax)! And I really did love all of the items! It also includes a booklet of insider beauty tips and tricks, a subscription to Allure magazine, and a $15.00 gift card towards a purchase of $50.00 or more (as long as your order includes one item in this month’s box).
