The April PopSugar Must Have box arrived last week and I was very happy with the box.
Here’s what was inside:
ShopShashi Bracelet ($28)
That’s me wearing it to brunch, together with 3 other gold bangles. It is a lovely brown/gray color and matches with pretty much anything. I love this bracelet, but it seems like there are one beads too many. The bracelet doesn’t seem quite round because there is one part that jets out (where the extra bead is). You can see what I mean on the middle bracelet picture. I contacted PopSugar about it and this is their response:
“Please know that that is how all of the bracelets look. It gives an edgy vibe to the bracelet and I have been wearing mine so that it looks like a bar across my wrist. We would suggest just playing around with the shape until you find one that suits your style.”
Valid point and I kinda like messing with it when I’m bored or nervous.
KAI Fragrance Oil ($48)
This smells really good (like gardenia) and is offered in a convenient roll-on. It is very strongly scented, so a little goes a long way. The longer you wear it, the more the smell deepens. After awhile, it started taking on a more woodsy scent and keeps its scent throughout the day. This is a $48 bottle of perfume, so more than the cost of the box already.
Tatcha Evening Aburatorigami Blotting Papers ($15)
These are gorgeous all-natural leaflets which absorb excess oil without disturbing makeup for petal fresh skin. Even the packaging is great and has gold running through it and is just beautiful. In a few months, I will desperately need these blotting papers and will feel proud to bust these out of my purse!
Alter Ego Dark Quinoa Chocolate Bar ($3.99)
This is great. Just really good tasting chocolate with a crunch. My fiance said it reminded him of a high class “Crunch” bar and I definitely agree.
Back Green Garmento 4-in-1 Bag ($9.99)
I’m a bride-to-be, so this 4-in-1 garment bag will definitely come in handy soon. This would be good to take on a longer vacation too because it would conveniently house my clean and dirty clothes (at different times).
