With so many subscription boxes arriving every month, what’s a girl (or guy) to do with all those leftover boxes? And where are we expected to store all these itty bitty samples? I have some great ideas for you!

1. Buildable Plastic Containers

This was an amazing find from Amazon (found here). We bought 2 (one for me and one for Matt) and it comes with a plastic drawer that you can pull in and out. We just pulled the drawer completely out so that I could keep all of my little samples together in the shower. It also allows me to stand small foil samples in there without them having to lie on their side. Matt does the same thing. We drilled little holes in the bottom so that the water can easily pour out when we lift it up (instead of having to take everything out and make a big mess just to get any water out).

The main part of the drawer stays in our medicine cabinet and doubles the space. Plus, it allows me to really organize everything and, again, it allows me to stand up little foil sample packets very easily. Amazon has a ton of really amazing storage options and you can easily find similar options at Target, Walmart, The Container Store, online, etc.

2. Wrangle Up Your Perfumes

This is the top of an old GlossyBox. I just use the inside to gather up most of my perfumes. Love it!

3. Make a Mini Sink

This is a mini paperclip holder I found on Amazon (here), but it was so cute, I decided to buy one for my runaway bobby pins. The top of the sink is magnetic, so it can also catch and hold a bobby pin there. I change out the products in my mini sink, depending on what I am using currently. This mini sink is on my bedroom dresser and come on, it’s too freakin’ cute.

4. Put It in a Shoe Organizer

This is one of my fiance’s closets. This is his storage closet and it used to be a huge mess. He recently cleaned it up and started putting his old KLUTCHclub boxes in the shoe organizer slots. Works perfectly and he looks forward to getting a new KLUTCHclub every month even more now that it provides him with an extra drawer each time.

5. Use Them to Organize Your Drawers

My fiance uses old boxes to separate his socks into sections…clever. He also looks forward to getting new boxes every month to organize his desk drawers, bedroom drawers, etc. I’m starting to catch on to the trend.

6. Make Drawers Out of Them

7. Organize Your Unused Samples

I make my rounds. I’m workin’ on getting to all my samples, but for now, this is where some of the unused ones go until I can work my way around to them. And any boxes that I use to house other items always are heavily scented so that whenever I open them, they smell amazing. The best way to do that is to put a closed scented soap in there and it will keep the strong smell for months (read more about that here).

8. Organize Your Hair Products

This leftover GlossyBox and Birchbox offer the perfect separators for my hair drawer. For more tips on organizing your hair products, take a look at this article!

9. House Your Valuables

My fiance recently built this shelf for me and it perfectly houses some of my most favorite things. Up top and center is an old Beauty Army box. They are usually black or pink, but around the holidays, they sent a white one and it perfectly holds my secret treasures.

In Summary

Along with offering awesome storage options, these subscription boxes are also an affordable way to try out some of the best beauty, wellness, and fitness products out there. Definite win!
