January GlossBox: Worth the Wait?

So, this month, a number of online bloggers were up in arms about not getting their January GlossyBox until the end of January/beginning of February, so the pressure was doubly on for GlossBox to do an amazing job.

Ok, so was it worth the wait? YES!!!!

I absolutely loved this box. The only downside is that I typically use the GlossyBox pink boxes for other things, and this month the awesome silver box has a huge sticker on it that says “The Man Repeller” so I won’t use this one like I use my normal pink ones.

Anyways, here’s what was inside:

The Breakdown

Estee Lauder: Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara

I was gifted this for Christmas last year and LOVED it, so I’m glad to have it restocked! Makes my lashes look long and doesn’t clump at all. Just a great mascara.

FRESH: Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum

This works okay. I am not wild about the smell, similar to a bitter cucumber smell. Leaves my skin matte, smooth, and feeling “tight”, but it didn’t stand out much against my favorite serums.

Le Metier de Beaute: Replenishing Daily Solution

Holy cow, this stuff is amazing. The downside is that the full size is $225 and I’m already out of the sample. It leaves my skin perfectly hydrated and has a lovely pink shimmer to it that makes my skin look great without makeup or BB cream. It also has a nice, very light powdery scent. I could see how this would be a winter favorite, but definitely cannot afford to buy the full size.

Living Proof: Prime Style Extender

I love all things Living Proof, but I already have enough hair primers and style extenders right now, so I haven’t tried this yet..although I did smell it and it smells great!

Narciso Rodriguez: “for her” perfume sample

This smells fantastic. Very girly and light scent, kinda reminds me of Juicy Couture. Love it.

OPI: Liquid Sand nail lacquer in “Can’t Let Go”

I took SO many pictures with this nail polish because I LOVE it! It really does look and feel like sand. It dried quickly, doesn’t chip much, and gives an awesome look that usually requires way more than one polish to achieve.
